this time of the year folks are doing a lot of scouting/riding around/ checking camera's / food plots/ etc. doesn't take much to send them nocturnal. Especially the ones who have seen it before.
think about it, they go all summer with very little disturbance then all of sudden in mid sept the woods have folks in them every few days.
