Watching the news and my little boy says "dad why would a man wanna marry a man and not a woman..that's weird"
Makes me sad . I wish I could raise my kid in the same world I was raised

Never would have thought this would have ever been as "open" as what it is. It is a abomination against God and his teachings to us here. I attended high school with a boy that is an advocate for gay rights. I would have never thought he would have turned out like that. This is all I have to say about this-

I will be honest with you guys. I have a daughter that is gay and I love her to death. She is a very good person with a very good outlook on life and controls her life very well. God made her that way and she can't change. She lives with a very good other lady. As far as getting married I would not go for that nor would I bless it. My Christian upbringing will not allow me that but it would not change my feelings for her if she did. I don't like it when people say it is a choice as I know it is not.
I have 2 other children married with kids and she is a part of their lives also. I wish it were different but it is not and I except and am not anymore embarrassed by it as I once was. Getting married nope and she knows my feelings about that.

Hell, if they want to say they are married I don't give a damn. There are a lot of heterosexuals that out screwing what ever come along or living with a woman they are not married to. At least it shows a commitment and they are not out screwing everyone at the bath house.

Looks like the Supreme Court just kicked the can down the road today. If it is their intent that it remain a state issue, then what happens when a gay couple married in one state move to Alabama where it not legal?
I still say we will see a move for a constitutional amendment legalizing gay marriage in my life time.

They didn't say it was a state issue. They refused to overturn or listen to the cases. The bans were already declared unconstitutional by the circuit courts of appeals. By not taking up the cases, they are agreeing with the courts of appeals.
