I have a 140" 8ptr on my wall, and he has a lot more mass than that deer. The deer has good tine length, but it takes extraordinary length, if the mass isn't there for an 8ptr to get to 140, so i'll play, and say 130ish.

He might make 120 gross, but I kinda doubt it. I'd put the over/under at 117.

I've never been good with judging mass from a picture but I don't think he goes an inch over 115 probably closer to 110. As short as his brow tines are that keeps it from getting up around 120.

A 145 inch 8 is huge

Yep, I have a buddy that killed a 149" 8 pointer a couple of years ago in Texas, he's 24-1/8 wide, has 7" brow tines, 2's are 12-13", all the rest are long, and he has a ton of mass.

I just looked at those pictures again and read all the posts for the first time. How in the world does that guy come up with an 18" spread? I'm assuming most people on the QDMA site would know that the inside spread is what's used for the measurement, but then you've got other folks posting about a 16" spread and the buck has ear sticking out past his rack. That deer has about a 14 1/2" spread and could be less. I think you were very generous with your 130" bid. I said the deer would hit 140 if the spread was doubled and that may still be high.

I think they've all been hitting the crack pipe.

same here on the crack pipe. Only explanation for a 145 guess.....

mid 120's, 3.5 or 4.5 need a better profile pic. I do not believe that deer will make 130.

some of those guys have lost there mind...18" spread? He's right at the ears...maybe 16" and no way he's got 50 inches of tine length.

4.5 and right around 130"

for the few on here that said 120 or less, take another look. beams too long and tines too good to put him at 120...

I agree he's nowhere near 145, but he is definately out past his ears. Look at the second picture. His left side is out to the edge of his ear, with it laying almost flat. I would say he's close to 16" wide.

Those sumbitches would need new drawers if a 140" 8 point ever walked out in front of them........

I'm for the crack pipe explaination

Deer will never hit 130"
