Spread is only one measurement. I don't get too hung up on spread. Mass and tine length is were it's at. That deer doesn't have alot of any of those characteristics. That's right most decent bucks spreads fall from 16-18", of course you can plot them on a Bell Curve, some good scoring bucks will be narrower some wider , but most in our area fall in at 16-18". Tine length will really run the numbers up. Mass will too and it it's the one that will fool ya. Spread ain't nothin' but air, air is everywhere.
