I have a hard time believing that 2.5 gallons of liquid (about 21 pounds) can do the same thing as about 3000 pounds of lime.

That was my thought also Delta. When I called today 1 ton of lime was around $28.50.

Back to the OP, Safford hardware sells lime and has spreaders, but the need to be pulled by a tractor with PTO. That's about a hour past Thomasville though.

Bump...  Seriously. If the plots not to big I have put it out by hand. Or get you a old spreader dropper. People use to use the. Them have small openings in the bottom and you set your opening and it drops it out the bottom.
