After 4 and a half days of hunting and hearing 20+ gobblers each morning across a creek and more than them more than likely eating off of someones corn pile for half the day easch day I finally got one on my side of the creek to play with and play with me he did. N2deer, a good friends nephew, and myself all started out on this bird at daylight Friday. N2deer left around noon and headed back home while little man and I stayed after him. Finally at 3:15 he came in silent to my side of our setup after covering almost every inch of the farm we were hunting and a good portion of the farm next to us. It feels good to kill birds with calls you made yourself. 3 or 4 year old. 10 3/4" beard, 1 1/8" sharp spurs
Some men are mere hunters; others are turkey hunters. —Archibald Rutledge—
