Barbour County WMA borders our club on the Northern half of a secluded part of WMA land.... Only seen two people in 7 years on this area... So we hunt it like it belongs to us.... So I guess you can say I hunt public land....all year....

Deer, only NF and only a couple of times a year when I can't get towards "home."
Turkey, NF, choccolocco, cahaba, a few times a year.
Hogs once or twice around bankhead nf
Sometimes will walk around cahaba to wing shoot or squirrel hunt...........I call that turkey scouting.
Hope to get on black warrior wma at least one week end this year.
