I am looking for public land south of shelby county to hunt turkeys on. I'm not familiar with the public land in south/central alabama at all. Any and all thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. I used to be in a club in elmore county that seemed to have a good population of birds. Be cause of that I was thinking about Yates west Community Hunting Area.
