This buck was hit by a car (mini van) in my neighborhood (highland lakes) off 280. I was able to save about 3/4 of the meat and will have him mounted mainly bc he's just too nice to waste... and YES I did get permission from the proper authorities!

deer season is closed, it is not legal to take that deer. It make no sense to just leave it rot but the law says you can't take it in closed season or without a license. There are some wardens that just may take that picture and make a case out of it.
