One thing I figured out when I had mine. "Could this possibly be a kidney stone" NEVER crosses your mind. You KNOW you've got a kidney stone.
Absolutely true. Between the pain and peeing blood, I knew exactly what the problem was on mine. The ER trip wasn't for diagnosis, it was for relief.
