.0750 or number 31 drill bit I think? I left out one zero. Although some refer to a .750 gas block = barrel size in low or medium. I quess I should have mad that more clear. Have heard of guys going to .1060 on some 300blks. But i fell that might be to far??? Whats your opinoin own adjustable gas block Vs Lighter bolt and buffer tube = for the intent of shooting ONLY subsonic ammo and have it cycle? I honestly have no idea when it come to a 300 BLK. I have never messed with a gun chambered for it. I have a buddy who has one and I helped him trouble shoot his via phone. He told me what it was doing and I told him what I thought it might be based on my 5.56mm experience. As far as adjustable gas blocks go, to me they allow you to fine tune the gun to the ammo at hand. That said, with you loading all your ammo and sticking to that load, I'd build the gun to work with that ammo and use a standard gas block.
