I remember watching a football game at Troy when the announcer called this guys name after he tackled somebody. Didn't believe it till I googled it. Mr. Morgan

My mom works for the school system and sees a ton of them. Once was a a girl named "Fragile" a Woman seen it on the side of a box and thought it was the most beautiful name she'd ever seen. Pronounced " fra Jill lay"
Another one was "Pajama" pronounced "Pu ja muh"

The new show highway cowboys on one of the country music channels has a family with the last name champion. Son is National and daughter is Ima Derby.

I call them names "powerballs". They throw letters in a powerball machine and whatever pops out, they make a name from it.

whereinthehell do they come up with those names???? Quidrkia??? Really??? I work in a plant full of these types. One time, I asked a lady where they come up with all these names and she said it is usually a combination of two or three names that they wanted to name the kid. Others are just sounds that they liked together. The key is to be different. What gets me is a guy there named Lantavious. Its too much, so he goes by Lance. Said he couldn't spell his name until he was 12. But when you know the kid will go by a nickname, it sort of defeats the purpose of making a name like that to start with.

back in the 80s I think it was GA Bulldawgs... had a defensive back named Carradio Murphy.
