I work in a plant full of these types. One time, I asked a lady where they come up with all these names and she said it is usually a combination of two or three names that they wanted to name the kid. Others are just sounds that they liked together. The key is to be different. What gets me is a guy there named Lantavious. Its too much, so he goes by Lance. Said he couldn't spell his name until he was 12. But when you know the kid will go by a nickname, it sort of defeats the purpose of making a name like that to start with.
