My Scag has 6 wheels on the deck. There is 2 on each side and one in front & rear of deck and it will still scalp.

You can raise your cutting height high enough to stop it from scalping but I like my grass cut lower than that. If I cut mine at the height that I like it will scalp on uneven terrain.

It's simply because of the bigger & wider deck. Wish I had bought a 48" deck.
