I bought a toro 3000 series with the Kawasaki engine and 60" cut a couple months ago. It's commercial grade and should last me forever just cutting my acre or so of grass. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago now. I can cut my whole yard, weed eat, and blow everything off in an hour now where it used to take me over 2 hours to do the same thing. My yard is pretty flat and where I do have rough spots will be fixed. Mine was a good bit more than 4k, but the time it saves me is worth it. The majority of county school systems in Alabama use the Toro 3000 model. The guys that operate them tell me they are the best compared to the Tiger cat, Husqvarna or John Deere. I've only operated the Toro that my buddy owns so I don't know about the others but if I was going to buy one it would be the Toro.
