I have a Hustler Raptor with a 52" cut (at least I think it is 52"). My advice to you would be compare apples to apples. Most of the residential mowers are gonna run between $2500 to $4000 dollars. Find a local dealer that you can trust, go talk to them, and let them "sell" you a mower. Make sure they work on them and can help you if you have a problem. You won't get good help or knowledge from the people at the box stores most of the time. My hustler has three blades, the Kawasaki engine, a fabricated deck, and it cuts good. I paid less than $3k for the 52". No problems so far.
