Ok here goes, I mowed commercial for 15 years and have mowed with virtually every type of commercial mower made. With that said yard size and terrain has alot of weight on this conversation(some mowers mow steep hills and rough terrain better). I run a diesel bad boy at work alot and find the hydros to be somewhat jerky, my in laws have an elite bad boy gas burner with the same issue. I personally own a John Deere z-trak. All around I believe the best bang for your buck with good resale and plenty of dealers to get parts or service if need be. If you feel like driving a Deere, bad boy, or Kubota I have access to all three and your welcome to try them. Just my opinion, buy a Deere. I am a big boy and the Deere accommodates my size very comfortably too. Be glad to help more if you need.
