Getting ready now. Hope to be up a tree by day break. Haven't got one this season so I gotta drag one out today. Gonna sit looking over a power line where it's covered up by signs. I'm at our biggest/best field, hoping for a mature doe or a decent buck...3 coons and a spike came out of the RR corn at daylight.

Weather report called for NE winds for me this morning which was good for where I came. Started getting hit from the SE at about 7 am...about the worst possible wind for this stand. 715 and I'm looking to the SE, then hear all kinds of commotion back over to my NW and turn to see 3 or 4 tails waving and no possible shot in that thickness. Thought they were freaking buffalo at first bc they were so loud. No blowing though but still pretty pissed.
