Heaven gained an angel yesterday. Grandma "Duck" lost her battle with breast cancer last night. She was an amazing person who always encouraged us to try new things because life is too short. She told me this summer how proud she was of me for sticking with the whole hunting thing - ha! I love and will miss her!
Please say a prayer for my family!

Prayers sent Wde05. This hits close to home for me. My mom had a bout with breast cancer about 15 years ago and beat it back. We found out a couple of weeks ago that she has been diagnosed with bone cancer. She got the results back from her biopsy Friday and we did receive some encouraging news. The type of cancer she has is very treatable. They're saying that it is not life threatening and she will not have to undergo chemo or surgery. They will be able to treat it with meds and she may have to have radiation treatment on the worst spot on her hip.

This was her 3rd time fighting cancer - she knew it would be her last time when they told her it had spread to her liver this summer but she never once complained she just said when it's time for me to go home to God I will be ready.
