Friday morning I had one of my best hunts for just seeing deer and hogs(wish we didn't have this problem with hogs) but, wasn't able to pull the trigger on one due to the fact that they were 500 yards down the powerline and moving quick. So I left for lunch around 11:00 and came back to put out one of my cameras while waiting on my dad to meet me for the afternoon hunt. As I rounded the corner I seen 6 hogs in one of our greenfields and was able to sneak in range about 150 yards away and killed 2 50 pound hogs with 1 shot(felt like a dang sniper after pulling it off). Fast forward a couple hours and my Dad is sitting in the same stand I was that morning. I told him about 3 big hogs that I seen that morning cruising through and he killed all three that afternoon as they were coming to the field. Two of them for sure weighed over 200 and the third was maybe 175(just our guess after dragging them). Once again Daddy had to show me up. It was the hunt of a lifetime for me and him definitely a day we will remember for the rest of our lives.
