Pics soon to come.Killed a 192lb field dressed hog today in Heflin.Hunted there for years,never seen one till today.Didnt know they were that far south.Now we know.

My uncle traps them in his club close to Coleman lake. He has caught 5 I think. I have never seen one in the wma but have heard they are in there.

If your lucky that one was just passing through. It seems the acorn crop is running out in some areas so they are on the move looking for food.

Are there hogs on any public land near Birmingham? I would love to kill a few after deer season. Fortunately there are no hogs where I hunt.

Call the area biologist. He was very helpful last spring.

From the way he was talking, though, I got the impression that the largest populations are on the WMAs. I think that's true in a lot of places, since they get less hunting pressure there.
