Here at my house as far as just seeing deer. 12:00 pm till dark is where it's at. I have lived here 10 years and have always seen twice as many in the evenings verses mornings. But I have seen some nice ones from 11:00 to 2:00

Nothing like running them dogs thru a clear cut at 7:00 AM yeah come on! Somebody give this man a beer.. Trying to get a tour of the farm and a guided dog hunt Row Tyde!!!
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

I read that article too and it seemed pretty convincing. However, that being said, I've also heard the whole, no smoking, no drinking coffee, no farting, etc....and people still killing deer while doing all of these.

Bucks or not, I love the morning hunts because there's nothing more peaceful than being in a tree when the sun comes up. I can't eat horns so I'll settle for a doe. X2,

I totally disagree with this logic. I see a lot of deer, including big bucks, on their feet in the early season. I've killed the majority of good bucks with my bow in the mornings on acorns, usually between 8:30-11:00am.

With that said, you have to use common sense. You can not approach a direct food source before daylight and hunt right on top of it without spooking deer, period.

Evenings in TN where I hunt. The first 10 days. By Oct. 5, you might as well doe hunt until November.
