A buddy of mine gave me a whole bag of soybeans and a half bag of corn seed. It was leftover from this year when he planted this summer. It got damp yesterday, think it is worth doing anything with? We are located in Marengo county and plan on planting the 11th. Would it hurt anything to broadcast in a field? I've got one piece of land I can attempt to use it. I understand the odds are not in my favor.. But i don't mind if it doesn't work out.. It was given to me...

If you have let the seed dry out since it got damp, it will be okay. If you have a deep freeze, put it in there and plant it next spring.

If not, throw the corn away, and plant the soybeans in a plot to bow hunt over.

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.

I will give this a try... Might as well try to hunt over the beans... Hate to see it go to waste. Don't think my deep freezer has enough room:/
