I hunted the Upper Delta Clearwater Tract for many years prior to the state purchasing the land. My dad and I have harvested many deer out of the swamp. Not as many deer there as it used to be, but there are still some good ones left. Know most of that part like the back of my hand. You get off the beaten path and you can kill some good deer.

Upper delta and lower delta as well.. Arrowed my first buck with a bow first day of bow season lower delta last year.. 8 point on the wall Good job on a lower delta deer. Mind posting a picture of him? There are definitely some good ones there, but they can be very hard to hunt.

I do hunt Hollins and Coosa "some", but don't enjoy them because I never see critters there. Coosa ESPECIALLY frustrates me. I can't find anywhere to hunt there nowadays, it's literally all unhuntable size pine plantation.
