I need to loan my son a multi-purpose shotgun to hunt with in Florida, figured I'd put a slug barrel with this Chinese-made 870 & send it down there.

That's what I hunt with on some coe land. They make great brush guns. Only draw back is they kick like a mule and cost apout $3 a pop. Steer clear of Hornady sst's they group terrible in mine. Think I ordered mine from bass pro. Don't remember the price but just the barrel with scope mount isn't very expensive new.

Also Mossberg makes a rifled barrel for a Remington 870 at little over $100.
