Smccord, thanks for the info! I have run RIFLE 300 blks before. But this will be my first pistol.I have LOTS of trailboss own hand. Plan own using 210 bergers. Which is better Trailboss or IMR 4227? I will chronograh at 1100 fps in the heat so it will be a 1050 fps load in the cold. Like you said , no need to go slower, so a 1025 fps to 1100 fps will work just fine for me to. Which full-auto bolt? Do you know the weight? The JP bolt better? Thanks for the info about the 175-190 not cycling! I hade same problem with this myself in the 300 blk rifle! thumbup

The bolt carrier is from DoubleStar (JT distributing). I can get a weight when I get home later. I have more IMR4227 than Trail Boss and IMR4227 gave me more consistent FPS with the same crimp diameter. I love the JP bolt in my match rifle but I just used it to see how low of a FPS I could get.

Thanks for the good info, it was what I was looking for! I have lots of 210 bergers and trailboss. I will see if i can find some IMR 4227. Do you remenber the cost of bolt? Whats a good starting point own IMr 4227 with 210s? I want to say Im running about 10.5 grs or less with Trailboss.

Whats your opinoin own adjustable gas block Vs Lighter bolt and buffer tube = for the intent of shooting ONLY subsonic ammo and have it cycle?

I honestly have no idea when it come to a 300 BLK. I have never messed with a gun chambered for it. I have a buddy who has one and I helped him trouble shoot his via phone. He told me what it was doing and I told him what I thought it might be based on my 5.56mm experience. As far as adjustable gas blocks go, to me they allow you to fine tune the gun to the ammo at hand. That said, with you loading all your ammo and sticking to that load, I'd build the gun to work with that ammo and use a standard gas block.

With the info I go from smccord, I think I will go without the adjustable gas block. But I will run a JP low mass bolt. Just go to figure out if I want to buy 8 inch or 10 inch barrel thumbup

Sorry for the late reply. Got side tracked. I run 8.4 grains(IMR4227) with the 250 grain cast and 11.5(IMR4227) with the 230 cast both are powder coated. My bolt carries weighs 11.6 ounces(assembled) on my scale. 8" or 10" ? Get both![/img]

Nice guns! I see you have the Magneto speed V3. How do you like it? I have the V2. How is the bayonet? Does it tighten good and tight? I hade to buy the newer rachet strap. I will keep my V2 for now but would like a new Magneto speed V3. I going with 10 inch barrel, for now. With 210s , 11 grs of Imr 4227 sounds like a good starting point. I will probably start soon own my 300 blk pistol. Thanks for all the good info! thumbup
