I think there are a lot of false teachings and misunderstandings about the rapture and coming of Christ. Below is a documentary released by a Baptist preacher from Arizona. It is a sound clear biblical teaching concerning the rapture unlike the fictional movies like Left Behind. I encourage anyone who really wants to understand what the bible teaches and when it will be to watch this video. The pastor is a very good preacher. My brother was in the Milwaukee Brewers organization in Arizona and attended his church while there. Since coming to know him and listening to his messages online he is probably the most knowledgeable and sound teacher that I have heard.

Here is the link. It is a full length very professional documentary

that's nice. Perry Stone is pretty good too. But, no mortal knows the hour or day when the Lord returns.

Dont you think every other generation or so thinks that it is the one when the world ends?

Basically three views, only two of which have credibility: Premillenialism, Amillenialism, and Postmillenialism.

"Pre" is the most widespread view (typical of Arminian, Southern Baptist, etc).

"A" is the most fundamental, biblically sound view (typical of Reformed, "Calvinist", etc)

"Post" is the most ludicrous view (typical of idiots and cults)

Sorry, I do not agree with rapture after tribulation. When Jesus sets foot on this earth will certainly be after tribulation but the scripture in Thess. says we shall meet him in the air.

Real strange doctrine that God would remove or protect his children during the days of Noah and even at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah but not again.

R H Clark Did you watch the video? From your comment it appears that you did not or you don't understand what is being defined as the tribulation. The pre-tribulation view defines the whole last 7 years as being the tribulation. They then use the scripture where it says God has not appointed us to wrath to say we won't endure tribulation. A quick word study of the word tribulation will clearly show you that Gods wrath and tribulation are two totally different things. Has God appointed us to wrath, absolutely not. With any look at the word tribulation in scripture you will see that we are clearly going to suffer tribulation which is normally coming from the world. The teaching in this video describes the tribulation as the first half of the 7 years. The rapture then takes place and God begins to pour out his wrath on the earth. So I assume by your comments that you didn't watch the video and thought that because the title of the video was After the Tribulation that it was a video teaching that the rapture would take place when Christ returns for his 1,000 year reign on the earth. It doesn't teach that at all. Most would refer to this view as a mid-tribulation rapture. The reason he doesn't is because the term mid tribulation gives the false idea that the entire 7 years is the tribulation period Please watch it and give it a chance I believe most anyone who is saved and has a good understanding of the scriptures and gives the video a chance will have a hard time not being convinced.

He said in the beginning "Let US make man in our own image".Would you allow your children to go through what the tribulation holds for those that will be here?

OctoberDreamin67 it appears that you have made the same assumption that Clark did. Did you watch the video? Please read the above post it clears up the thought you are trying to make. If you're going to disagree with the position thats being taught fine but to not even know what is being taught and try to speak against it is a whole different matter. The teaching in this video or also known as the mid-trib does not I repeat DOES NOT TEACH CHRISTIANS WILL BE SUBJECT TO GODS WRATH. I am open to discussion and scrutiny but it would help to know what you're arguing against.

Proverbs 18:13
He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

As for the other comments there is no where in this video that tries to set a date for the rapture. Scripture makes it clear that no man knows the day or the hour.

I did begin to watch the video. I may very well have been hasty in my judgment of it but the first few minuets would certainly lead me to believe that I could not agree with it.

To paraphrase one of the first statements was that Christians have been deceived to think they will be raptured from tribulation. That alone is enough for me to disagree with.

No anger or animosity here. It matters little when we are going as long as we have a ticket.LOL

Skinny I don't know why it is tagged as Alex Jones. He has nothing to do with it and is not in it or a part of it that I'm aware of. The pastor doing it has appeared on his show before but as far as the documentary goes it has nothing to do with it. As far as his show I don't keep up with it enough to know. It was just the first video at the top when I searched for the documentary.I updated the link and it doesn't have has name attached to it.

Clark if you get some time give it another chance. Its just 2 hours and if you end up disagreeing with it then it will at least help you to better be able to defend what you feel is truth while being able to counter the false teaching. I believe that statement you are referring to is true. Go to biblegateway.com or any other searchable bible in the KJV and do a word search for tribulation and see how it relates to Christians. Then do one with wrath and see the distinct differences. Tribulation is not Gods wrath and because these two have been used interchangeably when they are in fact two totally different things has caused some wrong thoughts. The teaching in this video clearly states God has not appointed us to wrath but clearly draws the line between where the tribulation which is not Gods wrath and the wrath actually begin.

That's fair enough. I'll give it another look. I guess it depends on how you define things. I believe it is scriptural that Christians suffer persecution and tribulation as it relates to being Christians persecuted by non Christians, just not tribulation as it relates to God's wrath.

Well that was eye opening.

Like many I also was brought up with the belief that the Rapture would remove "his" people before the tribulation but that did not mean that those left behind would parish but rather would have to suffer through that tribulation.

I will be the first here to admit that I have spent much of my life carrying the Bible around but not opening it up to read it for myself. Instead I would sit and listen to what others said that it said this and that without question. It was not until recently that I have actually opened that book up and started reading for myself what is written in there. It brings me back to my younger days when I hungered for the knowledge and read every chance I got and at Sunday school, would ask questions about what I read but did not understand.
I read somewhere that many people approach the Bible to prove their views instead of permitting the Bible to teach things that they do not want to believe. From the sound of it, this is happening here now, it did with me for many years.

I will now reread these books and look from a different angle to see what is actually written for I know where the truth lies, I just have to seek it.

Thank you ghost rabbit for posting the link to the video.

Yeah the pre-trib rapture was what I come up hearing to. Though I had read Revelation several times there were enough questions that I didn't know enough to challenge the idea so just went with it. It really sparked a new interest for my reading at the time also. I think it will do that to most who give it a chance.
