I doubt i'll be there. I got burn't out on all the commercialized crap years ago. Just another way for someone to make money, why pad their pockets? I don't pay to shop at wal-mart, Basspro, or any other store, so why would i need to pay to shop there? It should be free entry, and then if you want to pay for the seminars, then so be it. The older i get, the less i like crowds.

I wouldn't be too critical of our counterparts' ingenuity. I have seen some pretty good stuff marketed there. Well, the "deer view mirror" ain't one I was impressed with but some good stuff can be found.

Son and I are planning on heading up tomorrow. Hope it is a great show, I was disappointed with the deer expo last July. It seemed like there wasn't near as many vendors as past years.

Just got back. It was pretty much the same as the deer and turkey expo every July. Since it was the first day there wasn't that many "unbelievable" deals. There was a large selection of fishing rods that were buy 2 get 2 free that I saw a lot of people carrying around. The line to meet Michael Waddell had about 10 people in it. Across from him was Jimmy Houston and Chuck Sykes talking to each other. I picked up a large trophy rock for $15 and the wife got some soup mix. One stand was giving away Zebco 33's for the kids. Lots of outfitters. Very surprised Mark's Outdoors wasn't there. Not a bad way to start off father's day weekend with the family. Oh, I did see 3 people open carrying as well.

I just got back. It was ok. It had a lot less booths than the other expo. It was worth the money though. I met Lyle (Htoothgamecalls). He talked me into buying a hat.

Got busy yesterday and didn't make it, but thinking about heading up today. Did anyone see any deals on game cameras? I really need to pick up about four or five and would love to find a great deal.

I met him after I met you. He was a really good guy. When he handed me the bottle of estrous I told him that didnt drink those energy drinks but I would take it. Good thing he clearified what it was or someone (or myself) may have taken a shot of that stuff  Good to meet you too Darryl..
