If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.

The brows grew a lot and the beams on the one you killed look like their different angles? Hard to tell? Either way nice buck!!! What did he score? 142?

Don't think so...tough to tell with only one trail cam pic.... Yeah I agree with u man. And pics after the kill are not the greatest either. Given he was prob a 3yr old in the first pic that would have made him 6 (6.5 in January lol) if it was the same deer. Just to be clear I'm Not trying to brag or show off here. I'm proud of him no doubt. I was just curious with what y'all thought. The main beams are what are shaped very similar to me and made me even ponder over it. Same deer or not I would def say they are in the same bloodline.

should be ready in the next 2 weeks. I'm ready for it. My buddy does great work and is putting it on a barnwood backing plate. Seems I love barnwood. Everything I mount or skull mount has to include barnwood somewhere. Thanks for the compliments brother. I'll post a pic once I get it back from him.

It's the one you had pics of on your property showing off on that other forum talkin bout how you was gonna put the smack down on him. I hung a lock on just your side of the line and put some corn out. Your tactics on killing him stink . Follow my lead brother and I'll teach you a thing or two ...

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I had a pic of a 7pt about 5mins behind the deer in the 2011 pic. I cant find it or I would post it. I bet that sucker was 20+ inches wide. Not real tall but his rack was as wide as any deer I've ever seen. I dont know of anyone ever killing him either. Seems some deer just disappear. That's what makes them so hard to kill.

I've studied your pics several times, and in my grossly unprofessional opinion I'd say different bucks.
"Why do you ask"?
Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

Based on the general concensus we shall say that it is a different deer. No problem. The guy in the pic may still be out there and be huge at this time in his life or being old and rugged. Either way, cool thread. Thanks for the input.

i would of thought it was very possible with 2 years of growth. But since the experts say not, theres a good chance it aint. just curious what yawl determined that on. and there is no sarcasm in my question just wanting yawl to share some knowledge with me
