I had one until somebody found it in the woods. It was really light but a little small for me. I never liked it nearly as well as my summits.

I've had one about 10 years. It was advertised at 12 lbs but actually weighs 14. Its still lighter than anything else available at the time. Its not the most comfortable stand I own, but everything is a compromise in tree stands.
On slick hardwoods, it is a death trap. I only climb pines or white oaks with it now. Don't dare get into that thing without wearing a harness.
If I could own just one stand I would buy something else, but there are times I have a long walk and I'm glad I have it.

Watched one if the demo videos and there is a scrolling caption at the bottom that says something like never climb without a harness and the guy demonstrating isn't wearing one in the video hahahaha!
I like the level adjustment on the stand, but I would still go with a tree walker! Best stand you will ever buy!

I have 2 treewalker, i had 3 till the guy a lease land from MADE me sell him one after sitting in mine. I have had all kinds of treestands in the last 25 years, from the Baker death trap to the Treewalker, and Treewalker is my favorite.

Contact me if you have questions. I have 2 they weigh 11.5 and 14 lbs. They take a little learning on how to use compared to other climbers. I've climbed pines to hickory trees never had it dropped. Ad usual a lot of people talking about something they know nothing about. I've used them for 14 years every time I've climbed a tree.

Nope just know the product well. Just comments made that are not true. Hope you aren't referring to me. I know that mine has slipped on hardwood trees because I was the guy in it when its happened. ; The adjuster on the cable is nice, but its essential because there is so little angle built into them. You can set mine up on a tree at the steepest angle possible, but then it will be pointing down by the time I'm 10' high. Level it with the adjuster and I can keep climbing. The nice thing is that its possible to get it exactly level when you get to where you wanta go. The seat as not as comfortable as some other climbers, but that's part of the price you pay for light weight. But the small angle between the base and the section that contains the strap that goes around the tree makes it more prone to sliding than a stand that has a bigger angle. You gotta give up something to keep the weight down, and part of the compromise is less of an angle. Just recognize that its there and be careful of the kind of tree you climb and the stand certainly has its uses. JMHO, but based on 10 years experience of climbing trees in one.

I have the older style without out the level system. As I stated they are different than any other climber. Once you learn how to use them you won't have issues. I've climbed 1000's trees and not had a slip. Once you get settled in you must use the strap on the set part. And on the stand part just a few small mounces will set and lock it in. The only downside I found was the seat is not comfortable for long sits. I fixed that on my baby litebi added a hunt comfort seat and on my brute I replaced with a summit seat.. It packs lite and small. I bought my baby lite from Bruce the owner at the Harrisburg outdoor show in 2000. It a small business man using american products building a great stand.I'm just speaking about a product I know and use a lot of.
