Never knew they served a cup of grits. Got me a cup a grits with a side of bacon and an OJ wash down. I was pleasantly pleased.

Jacks is on my chitt list, back in the snow when all the roads were blocked and folks stranded the one at 59/20 exit 97 threw out all the stranded folks and locked the doors.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I ain't sure if they are owned by the same people or not but the Jacks in Boaz,Geraldine and Fyffe are great.I think I would rather go there for a meal than anywhere around here.They will even do french fries special order as early as 6:00 am.Try gettin that at Bozo the clowns.

I worked one summer at one when I was 16...it was 20 years before I would eat at one again...and still rarely do.

Yea its good. The one at exit 9 in Madison is very good too. But I have never had problems with the one in Hartselle either. Hate the parking lot at the one on the Beltline in Decatur. Heck only problem I ever had at Jacks was the one on Jordan Lane in Huntsville. Right after they opened I waited at the drivethru for 15 minutes. Cars backed up back out to the street. No one ever came on the speaker. At that point I just wanted to see how long it would take! Finally just drove up to the window. They really had no clue that day but it was fine from there on out.

I eat Jacks for dinner a lot. I usually don't like freech fries but I love theirs.

I despise jacks.I eat their breakfast for years and just got sick if it.Now when they start making the mushroom swiss I'll eat there but i dont care for the frys.They put to much of that popcorn salt chit on em.
