Any suggestions on how to keep a horse away from my feeder? I have tried moving it to different locations and the single horse in the pasture keeps finding it. I have even put it on the steep hill side.

I don't own the land but the landowner lets me hunt as much as I want and come and go as I please including stand placement and now the feeder. I have a excellent working relationship with him but I don't want to press my luck by asking if I can do to much. I have exclusive rights to the place and can only take my wife and kids hunting there. The owner also allow me to use the land as a gun range. So that why there is not a fence up yet.

You could buy a solar panel fence charger and put an electric fence up with minimal disturbance to the area.
From what I have seen deer won't pay any attention to a single strand hot wire.

With your situation, I'd do one of two things......I'd let the horse eat out of your feeder or I'd take the feeder down. Rights to a hunting property is hard to get. I wouldn't cause too much waves.

So very true N2TRKYS I am lucky and I supply him with deer meat during the season. As long as he is happy I am happy!
Oh and the horse is very healthy!

You need to stop putting corn out if there is a horse in the pasture before you kill the horse. If I was the land owner, I would never allow you to have the feeder out in my pasture.
You either need to relocate the feeder where the horse can not get to it or put up a fence around it.
Free feeding of corn is very bad for the horse.

I did not know corn would kill a horse. I am not a horse owner however the owner did give me permission for the feeder on the property. Right now the feeder is set to feed twice a day for 10 seconds. Also sometimes I mix corn with sweet feed which the deer tend to enjoy greatly!

You can bet your ass the horse is enjoying it greatly before the deer. You should ask the owner if you can put a calve in there with the horse. If your gonna fatten something up might as well be something you can eat on.
