I think am the oldest in the contest and probably the rookie of our team but I hunt'um hard. Never killed 3 in a year but my place has 10 old toms on it. Most I've ever had. You veterans give us a name, I dont care, but I have one suggestion from my daughter. "Red Head Dead" I am pumped, Get to carry her this Sat.on youth day

Sea Pro is here and ready for the 15th. I like the name Red Head Dead. Taking my 14 year old this Saturday to our place in Marion. I have seen some good birds, I hope they will stay around. Good Luck to you guys.

went today with my daughter, only heard 1 on the limb and I know I have 8 Tom's nearby, and had 6 hens at 30 yds. that never made a sound.. IMO its going to be slow start in NE bama.

Well, since we're a team, what's yalls strategy for the opening weekend? I don't know where I will be going to yet. I've got 2 different properties and I hunt Skyline alot. I can't wait for Saturday to get here.

I just hope I can find my birds.They moved on me last week, and hadn't found them the last 3 mornings. I am blessed to be able to stop by land on the way to work each morning. I think it's to early in the season for them to return my locator. Want be long

I am stoked about this weekend. My oldest son is 17 and he told me yesterday that he wants to go hunting this weekend with me. He has never been into hunting and it has made my week. If I call one in for him and he kills it does that count for the contest? If it doesn't maybe we can get a double.
