Looking to take the wife on a long weekend to the beach. Want to be off the grid so to speak. Doesn't matter if its bayside or on the gulf, just want privacy and quiet. I've looked at Cape San Blas and St George island. Any other suggestions? The quieter, more remote it is, the better.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

I'm a big fan of the places you listed. If you wanted to stay in Bama Ft. Morgan is fairly quiet and private if you get the right place.

Perdido key or fort Morgan.

I was gonna give you some help on how to keep your beach in line until I figured out you were talking about a sunny beach.

Living here in baldwin county, if you want to stay in Alabama then I agree that probably the only place I would look would be Ft Morgan ( the closer to the end the better) I spend quite a bit of time there. I also love the Cape San Blas, St joe area also. We try to spend a week there each summer to just escape.

St George Island is definately quite.....I will add that most all beach destinations are quiet right now. That is if your going in the next week or so. Now waiting 3 weeks they will be busy with spring breakers.

I lived on St. George for several years when I was a biologist for FWC and it was the best place I've ever lived. Very laid back, waaaaay off the beaten path and if you like fishing, hunting, hogging oysters, crabbing, etc...is all there at your fingertips. If you are looking for a charter I can hook you up.
St. George gets VERY few spring breakers. They all go to PC and Destin.

Take a look at Navarre Beach, Its the much quieter version of Pensacola beach and is about 15 miles to the east of it. Nice to be able to enjoy an uncrowded beach but drive a few miles for the shopping and eating in Pensacola. Also Navarre has a brand new fishing pier that's the longest one in the gulf

St. George Island no doubt! I grew up fishing this island with my Daddy and love it so much that my wife and I were married there. We also take our vacation there every year. I prefer the east end by the state park. It is absolutely beautiful and the folks that live on the island are great.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Rattlesnake cove at the state park. Great fishing off of this point because you are blocked off from the Gulf wind.

Used to be - Mainly because Navarre is just not crowded - Have not heard about that in ten years. I was down there early this week and it was so beautiful I almost stripped off myself! Mexico Beach is the most remote part of the beach I have ever seen. Nothing to do there but fish , swim or breed..
