I'm hoping a deal goes through on a used one, if not I'll be buying new. I have narrowed it down to: G3 1860 cc Xpress XP18 cc I've never bought a new boat so I am curious as to how far I can haggle either of these down. The best deal I have found so far is in Frisco City and he has the local G3 dealer beat by a grand just from initial email discussion prices. Has anyone bought a new boat that can give me any advice? Better yet, anyone here a G3 dealer and want to give me a deal

Randy there in Frisco City is a great guy. He now has competition 2miles up the road so I'm sure his prices are very good. There was a nice looking white one there today but don't know if it was an 1860

I used to have a G3 1860 CC tunnel hull, with 75 HP Yamaha on a hydraulic jack and the pods on the stern. Loved that boat, would go up in the shallow areas in the delta, and big enough to go out in the bay. Still kick my self for selling that boat.
I later bought a 1652 G3 from the place in Frisco city. He beat the G3 dealers around Mobile by a good margin on price and was good to deal with. Worth the drive up there for the amount of money I saved.

Airport Sports,Steven Brantley owns it,they sell crestliners which I think bought tritons line of aluminum boats,I think they come with Mercury motors

I've got the G3 1860 tunnel hull, love that boat. It's shocking the places it'll go.

G3 also makes a dual livewell boat with the vinyl floor. That would be my route. I don't think you can go wrong with either boat and a Yamaha is THE motor in my book.
Between me and my dad, we have a 50, 75, and a 150 Vmax. All solid motors. Never had a lick of trouble with them.

I got an 2012 xp180 with a 90. I absolutely love it. It handles great and rides well. It's also very stable while fishing.
I found the best deal at L and M in Stapleton.

Randy in Frisco City is going to be hard to beat on a new one. Used to have one of the best "stock" outboard mechanics around before he passed away (way before his time, I might add) a couple of years ago.

My dad has an express and loves it. I would look at sea ark boats before I made a decision

Both are fine boats. The only suggestion I have is to get a 4 stroke motor if possible!!!

The only suggestion I have is to get a 4 stroke motor if possible!!! I agree with that ... The 16 ft Xpress I bought my dad I got the Yamaha 60 4 stroke on. Super quiet and sips gas. If you really want to do some checking Louisiana is full of Xpress dealers and you can get a heck of a deal if you buy over there. IIRC the 4 largest Xpress dealers are in La. When I was considering trading up last time the same boat/motor combo over there was about $2k less than one here locally.
