The flu shot does not prevent from the h1n1 strain that is goin around.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

I didn't get the flu shot and now I have the flu.. My son had the flu shot and also got the flu

All of us (5) got the shot. Son came down with it Sunday night. Gave him Tamiflu as soon as he started complaining, then went and was confirmed Monday. He is much better today and I am confident it wasa result of the quick dose of Tamiflu. So far no one else is showing symptoms (knocking on wood as I type this).
If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

I didn't get a flu shot. I got the flu, but it only lasted 2 days. I didn't take Tamaflu. That stuff is too expensive.

I came down with the Flu this past Thursday. I didn't get the Flu shot but my wife did. Needless to say she rubbed it in my face all weekend as I laid in bed on the next to the last weekend of hunting season. I will be getting the shot from now on.
