This is the fifth racked buck I've missed this season. Today was by far the biggest buck I've ever saw while hunting and clean missed at little under 100 yards. I am sick!
So I decided to see if it was me or the gun. 1st shot at hundred was 6 inches low, 2nd shot just to make sure was touching first shot , 3rd and 4th shot were touching one inch high dead center at 100 yards. Maybe I can redeem myself this coming weekend.
Bucks are going crazy at my place.

Maybe you should take someone with you that can shoot before you wound your 6th deer of the year.
If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!

Why is your gun shooting 6 inches low? Does it only shoot right 50% of the time?

Sighting in with those little pointy ended swaged copper and lead tubes is just as important as patterning buckshot!

You either can't shoot, have a loose scope or need a new rifle.

I've missed my share of deer and I don't mean to pile on, but dude you need to practice your shooting. A sure sign of someone that consistently misses deer is someone who only shoots when they are checking zero or shooting at deer.
It doesn't matter where the 2nd, 3rd or 4th shot hit the target. You shoot at a deer, you're shooting 1 shot, cold bore.

Did you adjust your scope for shots 3 and 4?
Is it a common problem for your rifle to not hold zero?

Scope was off. After first two shots I made a correction and put 3 shots all touching one inch high at 100 yards. It wasnt the gun. I must have bumped it somehow
Maybe I should clarify after first two shots I did adjust scope. This rifle has been a great one over the years. Until this year when this gun was fired there was a dead deer somewhere. Its not the gun!

What kind of scope is it? My wife knocked over one of my rifles I had temporarily propped up by the back door. It hit a tile floor, and the scope hit first and the scope was still on.

You can look at my scope and gun and see its been "loved" for several years. I've never had a scope off. Knock on wood.
I have leupolds and a bushnell, btw.

Zeiss Conquest 3x9x50. Leupold rings and bases put on with locktite sitting on a Remington 7400 130-06.
I used to have this gun with a Simmons scope. Shot great for couple years and one day I went to sight it in and shots were all over the place. Changed scopes to current setup and its been fine until last couple of weeks.

It hit a tile floor, and the scope hit first and the scope was still on. i have never had it happen either until recently. Two weeks ago, I tripped in the woods carrying my son's rifle. Didn't even think about it. Sunday night, he shot at a doe at 80 yards. Clean miss. I took his gun from him shot at the same doe, still standing in the same spot. Clean miss. I hand him my rifle, he dropped her. I never even thought about that fall knocking off the scope until after we both missed her. I am putting a new scope on his gun before next year. The cheap scope that came on it is headed to the garbage.

Aim center mass on a deer, shoot 6" low, you should still have a dead deer somewhere, I would think.

Sounds like you need some buckshot and a high fence. By high fence I mean this:
