I was fortunate enough to take this nice 8 Point this morning. It amazes me how good a deer's sense of smell is. I had a big group of 6 does browse through the woods at around 8 AM and I just knew one of them would have a buck chasing them at that time, but nothing. It wasn't until 2 hours afterwards (~ 10 AM) this buck came running down the same trail with his nose to the ground searching for those does. This was a first experience for me and was awesome!

Great buck and yes they do have amazing noses!

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Congrats. I have also seen them follow their trail through flooded backwater. Amazing noses

I think I saw the head of this deer in the back of a truck this eve. while pumping gas. Nice buck.

Friday morning at 7:20 on Barbour I had a good 8pt chase a doe by me (I missed him, trotting in semi-thick stuff). After they left I had 5 more bucks trail them up, all grunting, noses to the ground on their exact trail (4pt, and 4 spikes). They were all spaced out nearly an hour apart, last deer came through at 12:30PM.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
