I have hunted a few things before like squirrel and turkey, but never deer. That will change tomorrow. I will be in the Roanoke area for the next 4 days hunting at a friends club. Wish me luck.
Well the first man comes along that can read Latin is welcome to rob us, far as I'm concerned. I'd like a chance t' shoot at a educated man once in my life.

Hope you have a ball! If you've been on a good turkey hunt or two though......well, the camaraderie with friends is nice.

Well I didn't get the big one. But I did put a doe in the freezer. And I think I caught the bug. I am already looking forward to next year. I learned some good lessons from my friend on looking for signs and tracking deer.
I also learned that there are a few things that it doesn't pay to go cheap on with your gear.
