I use Tinks 69. If the timing is right and he is in the area it will work. I use the drags soaked in 69 while walking to my stand and drag them in a direction to position him in an area I want him to come in at then hang them in tree limbs up wind of my stand at points where I have good shots at him. I also use the scent bomb cans with wicks soaked in 69 hooked to branches in areas upwind of my stand. When they are in rut and looking this will pull him in if he's in the area.

None of them guarantee work 100% of the time. The best by far is urine pulled from a fresh doe kills bladder with a syringe. Either use it fresh or freeze it. I have had successes with Hoosier trapping supply doe in heat. Killed a mature 11 last year that came on a string down the road I walked in with a drag. Now did another mature deer cross that road and not pay it any attention or spook? I couldn't tell you. Im sure that scents spook as many deer as they attract, you just have to catch the right buck on the right day in the right mood. I will also add that a downwind buck that can smell an over the counter scent can probably smell you.

The world needs more people holding deer in pictures, and less people holding cameras in front of mirrors.

I have, don't like it. Tinks 69 and Golden Estrus mixed 50/50 is what I use IF I use any. I usually don't use any bowhunting because I find it spooks does away and I want the does to stay if possible.

I use fresh or frozen doe pee on my boots for a cover scent when walking in to my stand. I've never had any deer spook on that scent. Some tracked me to the stand....

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Best store bought stuff I've used is James Valley, Scrape Jell. I've used it off and on for 3 seasons and have yet to have a negative reaction by a deer. I put it on twigs and branches about knee high. Friday AM I had a 6pt running from branch to branch sniffing it. First year I used it I'm sure it contributed to the death of a monster 10 pt.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

When I use scent I also use James Valley. I think you can only order it and you need to do it before the season since they used to run out of it. I have seen a buck come off of a doe he was trailing to come to the scent. Keep it refrigerated and it will last awhile.

I use Tinks69 on s drsg rag. What widespread said above is how it goes for the most part. I had a big buck follow a drag rag in last season, but I managed to screw it up. frown
