My father was in a club called Blue Creek Hunting Club when I was a kid,All the land was together but was split between the counties I think it was about 7 or 8 miles south of Uniontown. I was wondering if it still exists. There were several people from the Decatur , Hartselle area in it back then. I think a man last name Slayton was president. Any info greatly appreciated.

Hey, my name is Steve. I was in the club from 1994 to 2011, when it disbanded. The reason was due to the lease price rising from $6 to over $12 per acre (1200 acres). I understand now that the people who got the lease after us have dropped it after two years. You were right, Jack was the President. He got out in 1997. I'm form Mobile, but you were right -- 90% of the members were from Decatur. Some of the members were Don, David, Roy, Gary, Ted, Matt, Phillip, Wesley, Buddy, Bruce, Joe, Jerry, Henry, Patrick, Jon, and Kenny. If you got any other questions, just message me.
