I'm Starting a new club after the spring turkey season. I am looking at about 7 different properties with established food plots. I'm a 39 yr old disabled Marine. I have 2 other disabled Veterans that have decided to join and a 58 yr hunting guru that has was a guide in a few northern Midwest that has committed. If anyone is interested please send me ram and number. If you are a veteran or if you are just a disabled person let me know because we will have shooting houses with ramps and easy access. We are going to keep prices low and we we keep it to about 75 to 100 acres per hunter. So as of now we are looking for around 15 additional members and price range will be $500 to $650 a year with $50-$100 extra the 1st year to build or improve clubhouse and shooting houses and food plots. Please send me name and number and any input you may have. Thank you, Kevin wells, USMC.

2 of the properties are in cleburne county. 1 in walker county. 1in Perry county, and 2 in autauga county. Each property Has 2000+ acres, each has was at least a year round creek, or pond, each is level to rolling with great bottoms. 3 of them have never had harvested timber, the others have never20 yr old pines. All but 2 have water and power.

I may be interested depending on which one you go with. I too am a disabled Marine, but my disability is from TBI and PTSD. I'm a bowhunter so that will factor in my decision as well.

The club I'm in now has more turkeys than trees, and the land I'm considering leasing are both loaded with turkey's. Everytime I've gone to look at the land I've counted between 9 and 18 Gobblers and a few hens.

The properties in Autauga co. Have power lines and gas lines. The other properties have multiple highpower lines and some smaller lines. I will know January 15th which land we decide on. My college degree is in forestry and a minor in deer sciences. And I have 2 guys from Montgomery Doing 21 land study days at each property. But from my personal experiences, I like the Autauga co., Walker co., and Cleburne co.properties are the nicest. The one in Autauga co. borders the 3000 acres I hunted on for 30 yrs. And they have huge deer due to the strict rules.

Additional info on rules to be. Wives and children up to 18 hunt for free. Other family members and friends can hunt for $30 a day. This club will be family oriented so we prefer no drinking but as long as you don't get intoxicated nothing will be said. No 4wheelers or other vehicles to be driven on the interior roads fields or trails disturbing the wildlife at night. All other rules will be voted on during the once a year meeting in June. We will have several handicapped shooting houses.
