Back during bow season I hit a pretty good buck and never found it. I found a lot of hair and a little bit of blood. We ended up looking for him for several days but never found him. Yesterday I went walking looking for rubs and scrapes over in the same area I shot my buck and walked right up on his head and backbone. So after almost two months later here is my buck. He wound up having 13 points. Really wish I had found it after I shot but at least I got to keep his rack.

Congrats.. Wish I coulda found the big one I shot in Kansas, that I'm afraid ended up that way. Someone will get a good rack.

A taxidermist should be able to get you a replacement cape if you want him mounted. It might not be quite the same, but he'd still look great. Congrats on the find!

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

That deer should make P&Y. You gonna enter him? I hate it took so long to find him, but that's the way it goes sometimes. At least you did get closure and the rack! Congrats!

He was laying about 75 yards past where I stopped looking before. So he really wasnt that far from where we had originally looked. I rough scored him and he was 132 gross.

That's a great buck, especially with a bow. Glad you were able to find him. I have to say he looks, like he would score alot more than 132, just looking at the picture, maybe it's just me.
