If you have an iPhone you must get this app! It's awesome! You can pin your stands and check the wind there at anytime of the day, use it to score your deer, and also weather info!

Is it better than the mossy oak scout look app or basically the same. Have a droid and can't access that app

I'll look at alpine quest. Right now I have scout, back country, ihunt, and a few others smile always looking for another. The main one I use is backcountry navigator.

I have GPS HUNT and backcountry Nav.uninstalled and got a refund when it didnt have features i needed.Scoutlook wont cache or store maps for offline use so its worthless out of range. The only thing i use on it is scent cone when im at camp with a signal.Alpine quest is flat out a bad ass app.It will freehand boundry lines, store waypoints,Range find from where u are sitting,YES IT WORKS.It will record tracks with on and off toggle, store map areas for all areas u download them in,freehand tracks you recorded into permanent roads or trails to find later, change colors of waypoints and trails and tracks so u can mark diferent colors for dif areas,It also has way more up to date topo and sattelite maps,Compass that coincides with your map so u can point the phone in the direction you want to go and walk.

Heres a couple more features alpine quest has,you can range distance from where your standing. Its automatic when you zoom the map or drag the center of the map away from your location.Ive tested it with a range finder and its balls on,Also you can outline an area very easy and it will tell you how many square yards wich you can covert to acres.Useful when doing food plots and calculating seeds and lime.

I love the Antler Insanity app. Been using it for two years. Every time you see something that you don't want to forget or worried you cant remember where it is....hit the "mark your stand" button. Scrapes, rubs, future stand sites, oaks trees, future places to plant, crossing, potential duck holes, etc, etc, etc. All of these sites will be marked on your satellite image for future reference. I am constantly stopping and digging my phone out to mark something...especially as my memory sucks more and more.

Doesnt look like antler insanity stores the maps for offline use.worthless having a gps fix without a map to see where your at.one thing I realized when scouting with 4 wheeler.having to stop every 5 minutes to wait for map tile to load.also a track feature is mandatory.

I use it also. Great app. However with the duck commander app that i also use you can pin your stands without being in your stand. However i have found the walk to feature on antler insanity invaluable at times.
