Ok, I just realized Dish Network still hasn't worked out an agreement with CBS (at least here in Auburn/Opelika/Columbus Area), so I will not be able to watch the Auburn v. Texas A&M game at my house tomorrow  As of last night, the original CBS channel (channel 3 my area) has been replaced with WGN programming. What gives? Anyone else with this problem? Any way around it? I'm fixin to give 'em a call to see if there's any way to get the game on, but I'm not very hopeful.

I think it's NBC, at least that's the station that they are running the WGN on here.

It's CBS in the Auburn/Opelika/Columbus area, for sure. I was going to go ahead and find the game last night to set it to record, and to my surprise/dismay there will be a Walker Texas Ranger marathon going on Saturday afternoon during the game.
Nothing like a little bit of Chuck Norris to ruin your day...
I do think I read somewhere that in some markets they have blacked out NBC as well... all this greed from big companies makes me sick

Can you not get the CBS affiliate out of Mont. via antenna?

Can you not get the CBS affiliate out of Mont. via antenna? Have not tried that yet, just found out right before I went to bed last night that it wouldn't be available on Dish. I'll have to give it a shot when I get home this evening.

That BLOWS Hell with walker texas ranger when Auburn goes to college station and actually has a chance to get a W Dustin has it rite. Them HD antenna get excellent reception, I had one for 2 years. Id go buy one for the game, DROP dish and get direct tv so you wont miss next weeks games on CBS

I called dish about it and they told me that the best alternative was an indoor antenna (rabbit ears) they also knocked $20 off of my bill for the next 3 months...

At my Camp, I have an old School antenna on a big tower and all my TV's are relatively new and pick up the digital signals. I get 22 Channels for FREE there. I pay almost $100 a month to watch TV at home.....??????

Reading this it has occurred to me that I pay a ridiculous amount of money to watch cable TV. $193.00 for a lot of channels that I don't even watch. I think a change is in my future.

Read in the Mobile (soon to be history) paper that Media General (owns said tv stations) reached an agreement with Dish or CBS where WKRG.com (and the Columbus GA affiliate's website) will stream the game live.
Of course that's only good news if you've got Internet service and a watchable size screen 'puter wherever you'll be Saturday at 2:30.

Good thing they are streaming it online cause that seems to be the only way I'll be able to watch it. I tried 2 different indoor antennas today but I guess I'm just too far away to get reception. I guess i'd really have to go all out and get a big outdoor antenna to get any kind of useable signal. Oh well, DISH will have one less customer very soon.
