Does anyone know anywhere to hunt wild hogs in Elmore County...toward the Tallassee (or other) area ? (private landowners/farmers who might issue written permits to me and my 2 sons to bow hunt destructive hogs)
I can't afford pay hunts, leases, club memberships for us...and we really need the meat and bacon.

Are you wanting to hunt or just the meat?
I can't help with either at this time (deer season) - but if it is for meat, I can possibly help after deer season is out (if you are only wanting feral hog). I can't take folks hunting - but, I can call you when we are setting the traps or hunting them and can bring it if you want to mess with it.

If you can get away for a day or two after deer season, you are welcome to come and make around with me. I have plenty of room for you to stay and a Ranger for us to ride ride up to the dogs/hogs. I'll fatten you up on pork to the point of you needing high blood pressure tablets if you'd like!

Hunting-231, I'm really just looking for hog meat to put in the freezer. I'd love to stick a couple of hogs with my Trad bow each season...to earn my keep, so-to-speak, and the meat is my primary goal. We need the subsistence (meat). I can't walk very far (disabled) but I can do something useful to help out with the job. Thanks, H-231 !

I used to hunt some land behind the prison, a big swamp between Ceasarville Road and Pruitt Farm Road, that was ate up with hogs.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
