Looking for a few additional turkey hunters for our club in Wilcox Co, AL. 1200 acres, hardwoods, hayfields, large food plots, covered up with turkeys, nice camp house. We mainly deer hunt but need turkey hunters to help with costs. Would be 6 max on 1200 acres, 3 current members only turkey hunt a few times a year. $1,000 per membership

And they're stupid...

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Surely, he meant $1,000 for a full membership. If he can sell $1,000 turkey memberships for 200ac/hunter I'm going to lose my job.

In his other post it says dues for full members are $4500.

Yep...I don't think it's a horrible price for the full membership...it's only 4 members on 1200 acres with a nice house and year round feeding and such.

It's a stretch to call it a "nice house"- it's an old double wide. While the price isn't "horrible" it's 50% more than it was last hunting season. Granted the driving force behind the club died unexpectedly but it's food for thought.

As it's already been pointed out, the overall lease price is the same as last year, just less members...house or no house, the overall lease price of 18k for 1200 acres is high, but not outrageous. Wish it was closer.

Bud, not sure which club you're talking about but that's not us. I don't know you and you've never hunted with us. If we get another full member we won't need to add any turkey hunters, but if not, we're going to try to get a few turkey only hunters to help with costs. Obviously anyone that is really interested would come tour the property and camp house to make their own call on how nice our camp house is and what the property is like before they join. We would also have to meet any potential members to make sure it's the type of person we want to hunt with.

You can contact me at 251-282-6256 about a turkey membership. Thanks, Doug
