I didn't sleep in this morning but I'm running a little late getting up the tree. Just got settled in and I've already had a doe pass by. I'm sitting on a big creek with several good crossing and a water oak flat out in front of me. I'm bow hunting again this morning so I need sad daddy to get close.

He came from the down wind side... I don't know if winded me or it was the so called doe estrus lure that made him uncomfortable, but he stopped and smelled for a while then slowly turned a nd went back in the way he came...

Never mind the down wind comment because with the way this wind is swirling every direction is down wind at some point

Two does n three not heads just walked Right under my tree. I mean smelt my bow rope close. Could of gotten ugly If it was a big ol buck.

Just had a 6-8 pt come through here. Coulda smoked it with a rifle. Got my bow though. He wasn't but around 40 yds just didn't have a shot.

Mike..I thought I was the only one dumb enough to still be fooling with a stick and string I'm still toting it in the mornings since I killed that decent buck Sunday morning. I've got a good 8 on camera in this spot I would shoot with my bow but not with a gun. However it is dead in here with no movement. I saw 14 out of this tree Sat.
