Swamp! It's raining and the deer thought it would be funny to walk by me before the sun came up. Hopefully they will be back. Glad I wore my water/windproof gear.

Set up on some blow down from april 11 tornados.

In a creek bottom with thickets all around. Nice crossing out in front. This spot hasn't been hunted in over a month. Maybe big sad will ease through.

Pine thicket here in Fayette county. Saw 15 on a very short ride here and had 3 does and a small 4 point come by so far. I hope they keep movin. Good luck

Nothing yet. Sitting where I know a big buck has been almost everyday. I just found the spot yesterday but he hasn't come by yet.

They moved like crazy here early.
I took my nephew, Beau, this morning and did something I don't normally do....sat in a food plot in the morning. But, it must have been a good plan! We wound up seeing 18 does and fawns, 2 spikes, a 3pt and a 5pt. Those little bucks were feeling pretty frisky this morning and had the does constantly moving. It won't be much longer!

Sat on a food plot this morning hoping the rain over night kept then from eating all night and they'd be hungry this morning. I guess it worked out ok had 5 does and little ones in and outta the plot for the first hour of light which is more than I normally see in green fields in the am. Gonna get down in a little to get the camp cleaned up so that we can leave in a timely fashion after this afternoons hunt!

Young bucks are gettin frisky. I hit my can call and had another 4 point come straight to me. He was gruntin and running all around me. My mornin total is 20 so far with the biggest being a basket 7

My little girl said she wants to sit in the greenfield across the st from the clubhouse......so we are sitting here ....the field is ate up with tracks....nobody ever hunts it...

Just got settled in to the same greenfield I've been on the past couple days. I just know big boy is hanging around. Already seen a couple does and a spike. Should be a good afternoon.
