Does anyone know of a link to a good AR15 buyers guide that detail the pros/cons of different styles/options/brands/price ranges? I feel like I need to go ahead and dive in to make a couple purchases, but I'm essentially ignorant on this weapon.

I want a SOLID gun, not the flashiest, not the most pimped out, not the "most true to mil spec", not super hyper accurized. Just a standard, SOLID, better than average accuracy, adaptable, decent resale value

If Anyone knows of a well written buyers guide on this subject please let me know. Or, gun opinions are welcome

Look around and get confused.

Daniel defense,lewis machine &tool (LMT) sig 516, palmetto state armory are all good AR's. Not trying to be pushy but if you want one you'd better hurry or better yet RUN. Get you some mags too. Im sure they will be next to impossible to get in the next month or so. Good luck!

S&W fits your description best.Stag and Colt are good guns too with a premium being payed for the Colt name but it's not too much considering that you know you are getting a good gun with the best resale value.

I've got a Sig 716 that I love! I bought a Sig 516 yesterday. I prefer piston guns. LWRC guns are great too. I hope you can get one, but I'm afraid you may be too late. I went to my dealer this afternoon to get a few more magazines. He had 500 shipped in this morning and had 7 left when I was there. Production can't match current demand. With a potential ban looming, I can't imagine a surge in production. Good luck guys. Get hat you can!
